YGolf Product Review – Polara Golf Balls

The new Polara golf balls are available in two different models. The Polara Ultimate Straight is a 2-piece construction ball with 386 dimples. I decided to use the Polara Ultimate Straight ball in a charity tournament that I played in recently. My tee shots on the first 3 holes went straight down the middle of the fairway. Ok, I thought, maybe I’ve just brought my “A” game today. Or…maybe there’s something to this new ball I’m using.

My shot of the day came on a 295-yard par 4 hole. I was paired up with 3 men in the tournament. One of them had a rangefinder and gave me the exact distance to the pin for my second shot. I was 137 yards away. I pulled out my hybrid 6 and aimed for the flag. My ball went dead straight, landed on the green, rolled and stopped on the lip of cup. I missed an eagle by less than an inch! And I had witnesses. Not only did the 3 men in my foursome see the shot but a man playing in the group in front of us had left a club laying next to the green and he had just come back to retrieve it and started yelling and waving, “Great shot. Great shot.”

For the recreational golfer, discovering a golf product that can help improve your golf shots and your handicap is priceless. I don’t know if I was just playing really well that day, but I definitely give the Polara Ultimate Straight golf ball some of the credit for giving me a terrific memory of a great golf shot. And it helped me show off in front of the guys!
